Welcome to my website!
Crazy Horse Designs was established in 2003, that started from a passion for horses and photography. I have been around the Western horse industry for over 25 years now and my interest in equine photography has never wavered. I have had the pleasure of photographing some of Australia’s finest equines, including racehorses, World Champion stallions and travelled around Australia capturing images that, for years to come, are treasured by those who buy them. My photographs have graced the covers of numerous horse magazines, and featured in overseas publications, including as a feature photographer and article writer for Horse Deals, Down Under Magazine, the Paint, Appaloosa and Quarter Horse members magazines, and have had images and advert designs featured in the USA Arabian and Western horse magazines such as Go Horse Show, Instride Edition and Show Horse Today.
But to me, the most important publication is of course the one that I create yearly (since 2004 in fact) called The Western Horse Annual (WHA). I pour my heart and soul into this publication each year to showcase the year as it was for our Western horse industry. I enjoy seeing the finished product hit the newsagents and everyone’s enthusiasm to get their copy. The WHA has its own website – you can read all about it here.
I have been an active member of the Paint and Quarter Horse associations in Australia and USA, and have bred and shown multiple National and State Champions in halter and under saddle.
These days due to working another full time job I have limited spots available for photography and design work. Because of this I no longer tender for official show photography jobs and am enjoying being more creative with my imagery. I am always keen to hear ideas and try new things with customers, and never stop learning new techniques and set ups to keep my images fresh and interesting.
I hope you enjoy the look around, there are photos featured on this website taken right back in 2004 to current times. I am blessed to have a fantastic clientele base who I couldn’t have captured the photos I have without their trust and support along the way.
Thanks for visiting!
